The Things That Have Changed In WWE Since Royal Rumble 2016

In preparation for this year's Royal Rumble I watched the 2016 edition and noticed very early on that a lot has changed in the past year in WWE. I decided to track all the differences I noticed and list them below.

A quick note: The differences listed below are only based on what I saw in the 2016 Royal Rumble. What occurred before or after the Royal Rumble is not taken into account.

The Brand split happened

Ring posts now have LED cases

Vince McMahon is no longer on TV

The Authority isn't a thing anymore

The League of Nations was a thing, so were The Social Outcasts

Braun Strowman was a Wyatt

The Uso's were good guys

The Tag Team belts were black and bronze

Ring Announcers Brandi Rhodes (Eden Stiles) and Lillian Garcia are both gone

No Mauro Ranallo, Tom Phillips, David Otunga, or Corey Graves

The Women's championship was the Diva's championship

Roman Reigns no longer enters the ring through the crowd

The only champions holding the same belt now as they did at Royal Rumble 2016:
- Dean Ambrose, Intercontinental
- Charlotte Flair, Women's/Diva's

Sheamus had those silly beaded braids in his beard

The Miz didn't have Maryse

Wrestlers who have left:
- Alberto del Rio
- Ryback
- Stardust
- Wade Barrett
- Adam Rose

Wrestlers who are still signed but have disappeared from TV:
- Curtis Axel
- Mark Henry
- Jack Swagger
